Weekend in BGC

Weekend in BGC can be full of activities rather than just staying in your place.

Looking out the window, we noticed that sports and luxury cars just keep on coming and coming!

That we decided to go down but had to stopped cause there are a bunch of dogs in the circle!

After an hour or two of watching and petting dogs, we decided to check the cars.

American Cemetery - Taguig Itinerary

You might think that travelling to city is all malls and buildings.. But lies in the center of BGC, Taguig is the American Cemetery full of lush greens and trees.

The Manila American Cemetery and Memorial occupies 152 acres on a prominent plateau in the city. It contains the largest number of graves of our military dead of World War II, a total of 17,184, most of whom lost their lives.

It is located between the busy roads and buildings of Bonifacio Global City and McKinley.

Making a huge difference of history and nature from modern architecture and technology outside.

Find time to visit this place in the center of the city.

Girl Travel at Gyeongbokgung Palace

Gyeongbokgung Palace is one of the most main palace in Seoul.

One of the main tourist attractions in Seoul is Gyeongbokgung, the former royal palace of the Kingdom of Joseon.

This palace is also called the Northern Palace because of its location as compared to the neighboring palaces.

It is also the largest of the Five Grand Palaces, the other four being Gyeonghuigung, Deoksugung, Changgyeonggung, and Changdeokgung.

Gyeongbokgung was first built in 1395, but the site was abandoned and rebuilt in 1867.

Masungi Georeserve Trail

Masungi Ditse Baras

Masungi Georeserve is located in Tanay, Rizal. In the 80's, this part of Rizal was at the brink of deforestation because of illegal logging. Through the efforts of DENR, local government and private corporation, its flora and fauna have been rehabilitated and now continuously flourish.

Masungi Trail

The Masungi Georeserve is a conservation area and a rustic rock garden tucked in the rainforests of Rizal. Masungi’s name is derived from the word “masungki” which translates to “spiked” - an apt description for the sprawling limestone landscape found within

Masungi Limestone

The Masungi Limestones were formed mostly from the Paleocene epoch 60 million years ago. These formations rose from the ocean through the meeting of tectonic plates. By definition, limestone is a kind of sedimentary rock formed with different kinds of minerals, including calcite, corals and other organisms' exoskeletons.

In 2015, a 300 hectares area that had been rehabilitated from decades of illegal logging, quarrying and deforestation opened to trekkers and adventurers from Manila and beyond. Masungi Georeserve is now one of the most popular geotourism attractions in the Philippines.

Masungi Nanay Rizal

From mining and quarrying to illegal logging and other self-serving interests, Masungi rocks have stood the test of time. Feel like the world is your playground at the Discovery Trail, which is peppered with rope bridges and nets against 66 million year old limestone formations.

Masungi Duyan Bayawak

Bayawak is a shaped like your neighborhood monitor lizard, this rope course is the last challenge visitors encounter before indulging in complimentary after-trail snacks.

Masungi Rizal Tourism

Masungi Georeserve Foundation’s primary mission is the conservation of the Masungi landscape composed of towering limestone pinnacles and 350 species of flora and fauna in Baras, Rizal, Philippines. In December 2015, we opened the georeserve to a limited number of guests to support the conservation of the landscape through geotourism.

Break away from the noise and chaos of the city. We are located in Baras, Rizal, approximately 1.5 hours away from Metro Manila!

Masungi Patak

Tree house goals? Patak is a tree house suspended in mid-air and made of sustainable bamboo found inside the georeserve.

Masungi is so green, your eyes sigh in contentment. The place is full of old, tall trees, sinkholes, and dramatic karst limestone cliffs and caves.

Masungi Sapot and Duyan

Masungi bridges and platforms are designed to have the least impact on the natural environment. One of them is Duyan, a 50-meter rope walkway atop the forest canopy, lovingly handwoven by our artisan-rangers. It's the perfect place to meditate and take deep breaths even for just a few moments along the Discovery Trail.

Baguio to La Union Travel

Promised to a friend that I would tour her to Baguio and La Union.

Instead of Marcos high way that is usually the road to Baguio, we passed Naguilian Road.

One of the stop over is Ben Cab Museum.

Not just art but saw a great nature scenery too.

And I had to show her the pine trees and fog of Camp John Hay, Baguio!

The next day, we went to warm place, Urbiztondo and Pebble Beach of La Union!

Bahay na Bato for more arts and nature.

I had to show her the famous grapes farm that is easy to spot from the highway.

My Nanay's beautiful garden and succulent plants.

Let her experienced the Ilocos food from Halo Halo de Iloko.

And go back home..
