Greek and Mexican Cuisines

Greek and Mexican Cuisines

Friday night food trip with Kits and Jenifer is another bonding moment. Since me and Kits were early, we decided to try Cafe Mediterranean at Greenbelt, we ordered their red pasta and pita bread with sauces like hummus, tzatziki and falafel. I only tried hummus and Kits chose tzatziki and falafel since she had tried those in Qatar.

Few hours had passed.. We were still waiting for Jenifer, when she came, she was so famished and invited us for another dinner. I brought them at Chihuahua Mexican Grill. We ordered some and started playing Jenga. No salsa dance for this night!

As usual, another food trip for me and my friends at Little Tokyo.

Aside from cake, we had Okonimiyaki, a well known Japanese cuisine which we were dying to try for a long time.

Happy tummy for us.

Vanilla Cupcake Bakery

After dinner at Spicy Finger we headed for a coffee shop around Glorietta and Greenbelt for a Food Trip. But we want to try a new hangout.

We've been at Starbucks and Coffee Bean a lot of times and want to try something new.

We really wanted to try this Cupcake House since last year, so we decided to visit the shop.

Well its a pricey cupcakes but I think you pay for the ambiance and cute table set-up they have.

The hot chocolate, I always order hot chocolate, is good and not that expensive compare to other coffee shop.

And the girls love the mason jar glasses.

Italian Cuisine at Capricciosa

Capricciosa Food Trip - Italian Food at its Best

We already had Indian, Singaporean, American, Japanese Cuisines - so now we're heading for Italian.

We have two choice, Amici or Capricciosa but since we tried Amici before, we decided to try the later.

We decided to try their pizza and their best seller, the squid ink pasta. They did not disappoint, the squid ink pasta is the best pasta I tried. It has the best pasta aroma and makes you crave more effect.

Definitely two thumbs up for Capricciosa.

Grand Palace Fried Pigeon

The Tastiest Fried Pigeon in China Town.

I didn't know that we have a fried pigeon on our list of foods in our itinerary and food trip, but of course I'm very eager to try that out. So we looked for the Presidents Grand Palace that serves the best fried pigeon in China Town, Binondo. While waiting for the main course, we indulge ourselves with the in house tea first the n feast on the fried pigeon. Its much smaller and the bones are harder and more pointy but taste good. We also want to tried the Peking Duck next time.

Dong Bei Dumpling

Dong Bei Dumpling in China Town

Where else we can find the best Chinese cuisine food trip, nothing beats China Town.

And where could we find the best dumplings in town, none other than Dong Bei Dumpling.

According to reviews, the best dumpling cuisine can be found at the back of Divisoria Church in Manila, where your dumplings are being made upon ordering.

We headed for our first Chinese cuisine, the dumplings.

Costing 100 php for 14 pieces, its not bad for our appetizer and you can either choose steam or fry dumplings.

Must try in Binondo!
