Calaguas Overlooking

The first time I was in Calaguas Island, I never experienced trekking. So now I am back in here, I would not miss trekking and getting a view of this island!

What I thought would be a long and rough trekking was surprisingly only five minutes walk and oh the view is amazing!

Me and the group was lead by our tour guide. You can see the long stretch of Calaguas white beach, the boats that are docked, the nearby islands and the beautiful horizon..

Its More Fun in Calaguas

Girl Travel with Calaguas Island Kids

Girl Travel loves Calaguas Island Kids

Meeting local kids at Calaguas Island. I had been traveling a lot after I graduated since college. At first, travel is just for sake of going places, seeing the spot where you only seen books and magazines.

But aside enjoying, you can learn and meet the locals or meeting other people visiting that place. Would it be nice if everyone can be friendly and just enjoy each others company.

Touchdown Calaguas Island

Touchdown Calaguas Island

It's already month of June and rain started pouring weekly. There had been a heavy rain on the same weekday we were about to go to Calaguas Island.

Surprisingly, upon our touchdown on this magnificent island, sunny weather, blue sky and summer heat could still be felt.

With an additional of clear blue water and fine, white sand, this Calaguas Island trip is just right and perfect.

Island view from afar, almost alone on this island besides the local, we could not help but just relax.

Swim in the clear blue water and very calm sea.

Brush our feet in this powder sand, its heaven!

We get to take a very good pictures to bring home too!

Boatride to Calaguas Island

Boatride to Calaguas Island

We stayed at our friend's family in Daet before going to Calaguas Island. After preparing foods and baon in the morning, thank you to Asis Family, we spent one hour tricycle ride to the port of Vinzon, Camarines Norte. The port for the boat is a market and boat parking place surrounded by bakawan.

After hauling all our baggage to the boat, the engine started and we zigzagged the bakawan going to the open sea. The Bakawan in Vinzon reminded me of Amazon River. Since there was only five passengers, the two hour boat ride was cut to one hour and thirty minutes.

We were so lucky to have a nice and sunny weather on that weekend, coming from a rainy weekdays. No big waves, just calm sea and cloudless sky.

Bakawan, islet and island, blue horizon, white beaches along the way - perfect boat ride to Calaguas Island.
