Christmas Lightshow in BGC

It is Christmas time again!

Me and family decided to enjoy one of those night.

And we heard there is a really good Christmas Light Show in Boni High Street.

Since it is just a walking distance, we decided t go!

Lots of lights, laser, sound and even smoke show can be seen.

What I love is the big lights that resemble a gift box that changes color.

It made me feel that Christmas is really around the corner!

Girl Travel in Christmas Light Show

We were worn out.

Legs aching. Arms full of shopping bags. We’d spent the entire afternoon scouring malls for the perfect Christmas party costumes, a mission that involved walking in every shops, snack breaks, and at least three “I’m-dying-but-we-must-continue” pep talks.

So what did we do?

We didn’t go home.

We didn’t collapse on the couch.

We went to Ayala Triangle Gardens.

I saw it last year.

I knew it was beautiful.

But I came back anyway.

Because some things — like the smell of bibingka on a December night, or the sound of carols echoing through Makati’s streets aren’t meant to be experienced just once. They’re meant to be re-lived. Like favorite songs. Like holiday hugs. Like that one ugly sweater you refuse to throw away.

And Ayala Triangle’s Christmas Light & Music Show? It’s Manila’s holiday heartbeat.

Above us? Thousands - thousands of LED lights draped like celestial garlands across century-old acacia trees, pulsing gently, waiting…

Then darkness.

A hush.

A single chime.

And then… music.

To Ayala Triangle — thank you for turning exhaustion into enchantment.
To my shopping-warrior friends — thank you for saying “yes” to wonder, even when our feet were screaming.
And to whoever designed this show — you didn’t just hang lights.
