Gyeongbokgung Palace is one of the most main palace in Seoul.
One of the main tourist attractions in Seoul is Gyeongbokgung, the former royal palace of the Kingdom of Joseon.
This palace is also called the Northern Palace because of its location as compared to the neighboring palaces.
It is also the largest of the Five Grand Palaces, the other four being Gyeonghuigung, Deoksugung, Changgyeonggung, and Changdeokgung.

Gyeongbokgung was first built in 1395, but the site was abandoned and rebuilt in 1867.

Masungi Georeserve is located in Tanay, Rizal. In the 80's, this part of Rizal was at the brink of deforestation because of illegal logging. Through the efforts of DENR, local government and private corporation, its flora and fauna have been rehabilitated and now continuously flourish.

The Masungi Limestones were formed mostly from the Paleocene epoch 60 million years ago. These formations rose from the ocean through the meeting of tectonic plates. By definition, limestone is a kind of sedimentary rock formed with different kinds of minerals, including calcite, corals and other organisms' exoskeletons.

Masungi Rizal Tourism
Masungi Georeserve Foundation’s primary mission is the conservation of the Masungi landscape composed of towering limestone pinnacles and 350 species of flora and fauna in Baras, Rizal, Philippines. Baguio to La Union Travel
Promised to a friend that I would tour her to Baguio and La Union.
Instead of Marcos high way that is usually the road to Baguio, we passed Naguilian Road.
One of the stop over is Ben Cab Museum.
Not just art but saw a great nature scenery too.
And I had to show her the pine trees and fog of Camp John Hay, Baguio!
The next day, we went to warm place, Urbiztondo and Pebble Beach of La Union!
Bahay na Bato for more arts and nature.
I had to show her the famous grapes farm that is easy to spot from the highway.
My Nanay's beautiful garden and succulent plants.
Let her experienced the Ilocos food from Halo Halo de Iloko.
And go back home..
Welcome to Nami Island
Found out that Nami Island has its own republic.
There is Immigration before you can go to the island. Naminara is a micronation, and the "visa" issued by Naminara is required in order to enter Namiseom.
The island's main attraction is definitely the rows of beautiful lined trees of different kinds of pine trees, metasequoia trees, ginko trees and cherry blossom trees.
Namiseom Island was formed as a result of the construction of Cheongpyeong Dam.
It is a half moon-shaped isle, and on it is the grave of General Nami, who led a great victory against the rebels in the 13th year of the 7th king of the Joseon Dynasty, King Sejo.
It is also famous tourist attractions as the number of Asian tourists increases due to the success of Korean drama Winter Sonata.

The Garden of Morning Calm
The Garden of Morning Calm was named after an old nickname for Korea – The Land of Morning Calm.
This is Korea's favorite arboretum.
Millennium Juniper tree at the center of the garden is estimated around 1,000 years old.

The Garden of Morning Calm is also known as a filming location for the popular korean drama of Park Bogum and Kim Yoojung called “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds“.
Located at Gapyeong, this place is especially beautiful during the summer when it is lush and green.
It is the oldest private garden in Korea and is composed of around 20 gardens.
Held at the Garden of Morning Calm, the Lighting Festival is the biggest festival of lights in Korea.
The Garden of Morning Calm was thought of by Professor Han Sang-Kyung, whilst he was serving as an exchange professor in the USA.
