Stamps

Stamps

I have been staying on my grandparents house for quite a while. There is nothing much left to do in a province surrounded by far and mountains like here in La Union, so I decided to check the old stuff in the cabinet. I found some old mails and letters with stamps still on it.

There were some Philippines Stamps and some from USA.

It's been a long a time since I received a snail mail. I'm so excited because I'm expecting to receive one when I get back to Manila..

Camp John Hay Photoshoot

Camp John Hay Photoshoot

In line with the prenuptial pictorial, here are the behind the scene in Camp John Hay in Baguio. In total, there were a director, three photographers, two hair and make up and a bunch of assistant. We also had guest coming, thanks to the couples who provided our lunch and snack.

The photo shoot started with early ocular inspection on Camp John Hay so that we could find location for the photoshoot. The pictorial went smoothly and the PA proved there worth he he..

Next will be in haunted Diplomat Hotel..

Sky Lantern Wedding

Sky Lantern Wedding

It is said that if you successfully fly a sky lantern, you can make a wish.

This is my first time to fly a sky lantern. As a part of my cousin's wedding, we flew sky lantern. After attaching the wax and lighting it up, you have to patiently wait until the lantern slowly float. You must also be careful for the paper not to catch fire.

Congratulations to Christian and Catherine! Wish you all the love and happiness, truly your wedding is one of my favorite. It is not just a family gathering for me, I love how the wedding in every sense. From the  prenuptial pictorial which I was the unofficial photographer, also the travel which I enjoyed so much cause its my first time to Lingayen, I even like the place we had stayed in Zambales that I wanted to cry when we had to leave, the wedding, the dresses of the entourage that had Bohemian theme, the reception place which Ate Catherine's family worked so hard, the hosts made me laugh so hard, I was touched by the speech given by their love ones, and most specially the union of two special person.

Filipina Travel at Candelaria

Filipina Travel at Candelaria

We stayed on Candelaria beachfront with river and mountains on the other side. And when you look on the horizon, you will see the Potipot Island. Candelaria, unlike other beach, is not crowded with huts and crowd, instead, vast sands and pine trees can be seen. It reminds me of Anawangin, only better.

Too bad, I am not able to fully enjoy this beach. We just stayed here because my relatives did not have any place to stay during my cousin's wedding in Zambales. And they decided to rent this very wonderful place! If I had known that this was where we were going to stay, I would stay here one week before the wedding ha ha..

Girl Travel in Christmas Light Show

Girl Travel in Christmas Light Show

After exhausting shopping for Christmas Party costume, we decided to relax a bit at Ayala Triangle. I already saw the Christmas Light Show last year but it is really beautiful site and want to try that experience again.

We were welcome by a large crowd waiting to see the show. You can see kids and grown ups having picnic from afar while others were patiently waiting under the Christmas lights hanging from the trees. We were chatting when the place got dark and we could hear the music starting, the crowd stirred excitedly! The show started, I got busy taking pictures but stopped for awhile to enjoy the lights and music. You can see the lights dancing along with the beat!

After two Christmas Light Show, we said goodbye. But I'll come again next year..

I also heard the owner saying that that pup is just four months old! My friend's dog is barely four months old and its thrice in height. Now I want to have a teacup dog.

Pinay Travel at Banana Island

One of my favorite island in Coron, Palawan, is the Banana Island. I love this island because I really enjoyed every moment in this place, from the moment I stepped out until I get back from our boat

Girl Travel at Banana Island

As you can see in the pictures, the beach in Banana Island is quite nice, we just had the photo taken on the stony part. There are nipa huts if you want to stay overnight, the view is magnificent! You can see other islands such as Bulog Dos, Malcapuya Island and the limestone island stretching on the horizon.

One of the best thing to do in Banana Island is snorkeling. I think I roam under water twice or thrice. As we were being guided few feet from the beach, we already saw the vast coral reefs and different species of fish. As we swam around the island, we came to the parts of the seafloor two meters deep then next thing when you look down its several meters deep! As we swim further, the fishes multiply and became bigger. Its really magnificent!
