Sleep Over with Lola
Sleep Over with Lola
I called my girl friends to meet up. I just came from La union, someone just came back from Qatar, someone wants to talk to us, there are a pile of cards from France that I need to give so we decided to meet.
Sleep over that I did not know! I thought we are just going to catch up and have dinner so imagine my surprise when we got there and one of the girls got this big bag with pyjamas on it!
It was a fun night until morning, we video chatted Manila and Paris, play around, eat junk foods, watch movies and talked with y girlfriends, I really love them.
Mr Owl
Mr Owl
While staying here at La Union, our neighbor saw and caught an owl, it's a Philippine Scops Owl. It has a brown feather with a pair of orange eyes. I named him Hedwig. Yes, I am a Harry Potter fan! It is kinda aggressive and had biten me many times, I got a lot of scratch from its claws.
After three days in the cage, visiting him and pursuing Uncle to let him go, we decided to free him. The funny thing, after few hours being freed, I saw the Philippine Scops Owl perched on one of the chairs outside my grandma's house. I had to bring him back to the trees at our backyard.
Every night on my stay at La Union, I can hear him hooting outside..

Haunted Diplomat Hotel
Haunted Diplomat Hotel
One of the venue of my first official prenuptial photoshoot is at the Diplomat Hotel. So what's with this hotel? Well my cousins, also the photoshoot team, said that this hotel is haunted. Located in the top of Dominican Hill and overlooking the Baguio City, this building is used to be a seminary where a lot of priest died. Then it was converted to hotel but stopped operating when the owner died.
When we arrived at this place, we were impressed by the facade. It has this old look and grand design. Then when we went inside, it's not creepy as it looks. In fact there was a restoration team doing the wall and flooring. We were fortunate enough to be allowed to go upper floors, I got good PA on my team lol, then we took as much pictures as we could.
It did not disappoint us doing the prenuptial pictorial in Diplomat Hotel plus I got my first visit on a haunted place..
Stamps
Stamps
I have been staying on my grandparents house for quite a while. There is nothing much left to do in a province surrounded by far and mountains like here in La Union, so I decided to check the old stuff in the cabinet. I found some old mails and letters with stamps still on it.
There were some Philippines Stamps and some from USA.
It's been a long a time since I received a snail mail. I'm so excited because I'm expecting to receive one when I get back to Manila..
Camp John Hay Photoshoot
Camp John Hay Photoshoot
In line with the prenuptial pictorial, here are the behind the scene in Camp John Hay in Baguio. In total, there were a director, three photographers, two hair and make up and a bunch of assistant. We also had guest coming, thanks to the couples who provided our lunch and snack.
The photo shoot started with early ocular inspection on Camp John Hay so that we could find location for the photoshoot. The pictorial went smoothly and the PA proved there worth he he..
Next will be in haunted Diplomat Hotel..
Sky Lantern Wedding
Sky Lantern Wedding
It is said that if you successfully fly a sky lantern, you can make a wish.
This is my first time to fly a sky lantern. As a part of my cousin's wedding, we flew sky lantern. After attaching the wax and lighting it up, you have to patiently wait until the lantern slowly float. You must also be careful for the paper not to catch fire.
